WHY WE STARTED
The Dreamer Studio is a non profit organization that began in 2019 as a small teaching practice in NYC. It has since moved to Charlotte NC, and offers classes in both areas. We are founded on the belief that all children should have access to excellent classes in the arts regardless of their socioeconomic background.
Dream Studios offers a variety of classes in the collaborative performing arts, but our true focus is nurturing a strong sense of self in our students. Our core curriculum was developed by founder and CEO, Spencer Bang, but is reshaped and manipulated by the teacher using it - this way both students and teachers have a voice in their learning experience.
For all Devised Filmmaking courses, Dream Studios partners with Nightwire Films - an award winning collective of filmmakers in the Charlotte, NC area. Learn a little more about them here.
